About Us
Mountain Hill Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Georgia Baptist Convention and the Pine Mountain Baptist Association. Our Sunday morning worship attendance is about 65. The worship service music is a combination of hymns and choruses with adult and children choirs and skilled musicians. We have Sunday morning Bible study groups for all ages. The sermons teach how to apply truths from the Bible to daily living as followers of Jesus Christ.
As A Guest What You Can Expect
You will be greeted in the parking lot by one of our greeters and shown into the church. Inside, if you have children you will be shown the nursery and if your children are older the time and location of "children's church" will be explained. One of our greeters will help you find a seat and introduce you to the people seated beside you. It is our desire for you to experience the love, joy and  peace that comes in knowing Jesus Christ. There is hope in Him!

Bible Study Groups / Ministries
To grow in our understanding of God, we offer Sunday morning Bible study in small groups. We have classes for adults, a youth class and children's classes. There is a nursery provided as well as "children's church" for those through the 2nd grade. We also have a monthly home Bible study for men and a Bible study for women.

Knowing God and making Him known to others is important to our church and our church is strong in supporting missions and ministries locally, nationally and internationally through personal involvement and through our giving.

What We Believe

1. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God.  We affirm both the Old and New Testaments, that though written by men, they were supernaturally inspired by the Holy Spirit, so that the scriptures are not the words of men, but the Word of God, and completely authoritative in all matters.

2. We believe that there is one God who reveals Himself in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe that there is salvation only in Jesus Christ.  He is God come to earth in human flesh for the purpose of redeeming a lost world.  We believe in His virgin birth, perfect life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and visible return.  All who are willing to turn from their sin and place their faith in Christ alone will be saved.

4. We believe that the church is the body of Christ.  Every believer should assemble regularly with other believers.  We believe that the two ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord's Supper.

5. We believe that the purpose of the church is to worship the Lord Jesus, learn how to walk as a child of God, and witness to others about the saving power of Jesus Christ.

6. We believe that the mission of the church is to take the gospel to the world.

7. We accept and subscribe to the doctrinal statement of "The Baptist Faith and Message" 2000.
